Southeast Missouri State University Alumnus Wayne Turley II, co-founder of Catherine Cares, has turned personal tragedy into a service that helps families heal.
Catherine Cares provides Heartbeat Bears, as well as restaurant and fuel gift cards to families of babies who receive a life-threatening diagnosis. Our heartbeat bears were launched in February and were designed with the help of Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Catherine Care’s founders Wayne and Lauren Turley along with students from local elementary and middle schools delivered heartbeat bears to Cardinal Glennon and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Catherine Cares, an organization that seeks to lift up families of children receiving devastating diagnoses, recently launched a new service. Build-A-Bear Heartbeat Bears will soon available at hospital partners of Catherine Cares.
